PS2 Tyre Fluid

PS2 Tyre Fluid™ is a locally manufactured pressure stabiliser & tyre sealant fluid designed specifically for the use in harsh South African conditions, maximising tyre and vehicle performance and prolonging tyre life.

Application:

1 Litre per off-road tyre

• Permanently seals leaks to prevent flat wheels or blow outs.
• Improves safety while driving and guards against porosity and leak paths.
• Stops o-ring and vent hole leaks, or leaks due to poorly maintained and repaired tyres.
• Assists industrial tyres in retaining air, even when the tyre body is in extremely poor condition.
• Powerful anti-rust properties that aid in the prevention of rust build up on wheel rims.
• Anti-freeze qualities prevent the tyre fluid from drying out inside the tyre for the tyres entire lifespan.
• Water-soluble, non-toxic, non-flammable and bio-degradable.
• Contains both strong Aramid Fibres used in bullet proof vests and microscopic fibres to seal molecular fissures.

• Can withstand extremely high and low temperatures.

How it works:

Designed to be used on any tubeless pneumatic tyre, PS2 Tyre Fluid™ is applied through the valve-stem by the means of a specially designed handpump once the valve-core has been removed. Rotation of the tyre then evenly distributes the fluid around the inner surface of the tyre. The viscosity of the tyre fluid is very high and will therefore cover the entire inner surface of the tyre.

When a leak occurs the centrifugal force of the rotating tyre, and internal pressure, forces the highly viscose fluid into the aperture. Special fibres contained in the compound are packed into the leak resulting in a permanent seal that will last the life of the tyre. Part of the fluid that reaches the outside surface of the tyre oxidizes on contact with the atmosphere. In this way, a leak that occurs while driving will seal instantly.
